We had a great afternoon with Cara and Casey on Sunday and we splashed around in the baby pool! Thanks to Frank and Sharon, Casey had some killer new bath toys that were apparently delicious. Photos of cuteness:

Finger Foods
Here is a funny video of Sabrina eating finger foods
And in this first attempt to catch her eating, she doesn't do a very good job at the actual eating part, but it's fun to watch her actively working on her motor skills. And, you'll notice Pongo is hovering in both. "Whoa! You mean this kid drops chicken? Awesome!"
Unfortunately in this video you'll also be able to see the bruise on her arm where she was bitten (yes, bitten!) at daycare last week. It was an awful call to receive at work and it made me momentarily rethink the entire idea of working and putting her in daycare. But as I talk to more parents, I realize that when a group of kids are together, it's one of those things that happens. So whether it's in daycare or kindergarten, it's a possibility. It just stinks. But I felt like The Cottage School handled it as well as can be expected and thankfully the bite didn't break the skin. Let's just hope she doesn't pick up the biting herself...so gross. Our poor little victim. It's such a big, bad world. :-(

Omnivorous Baby
Sabrina eats chicken now - and LOVES it! She also drinks from a shot glass (pediatrician recommended...and I'm not kidding). Check out the video to see it for yourself.
