Here is where we are living with Rosa and Andrew. We are on the second floor (which would be called the third floor in the US) in the back looking over a park in the distance. Rosa is seventy and owns the apartment. Andrew is an American college student living here for six months studying Spanish. Obviously they both speak much better Spanish than us!! But almost no English is spoken in the house so we are hoping to learn quickly.
Today we attended our first classes and we are on our way to becoming fluent (a long long journey ahead). Life is good and we are off to eat dinner with Rosa to pretend we know what she is saying!! Wish us luck!
