Happy Halloween!

Sabrina had a great first Halloween - and wore her Pebbles costume 3 different times! We had an action packed weekend. We started the weekend at Brent's office party on Friday, then went to a party at her daycare, the Cottage School on Saturday morning, then a birthday party for her friend, Charlie, then a neighborhood party that night, then finally the Munchkin Masquerade on Pearl St., followed by trick-or-treating in our neighborhood. Phew. No wonder I'm exhausted! The best part of the weekend was that Sabrina got to share this occasion with all four of her grandparents! Rich and Gail flew out on Friday and they leave Monday morning. They were great sports and dressed up for the munchkin masquerade on Halloween. Sabrina absolutely loved seeing them, and proved it by not falling asleep until 10 o'clock Saturday or Sunday night! The video at the end of the album shows how silly she got after dinner on Sunday night. She has definitely mastered the game of peek-a-boo all by herself.
She started eating like a sumo wrestler yesterday and hasn't stopped since. She hasn't been eating much for the past few weeks and I was starting to get worried. Now all of a sudden she's a bottomless pit! I feel like she's going to wake up 4 feet tall tomorrow. Probably not, but I don't know where she's putting it all. If she has a huge growth spurt, I'll let you know!

And, some other exciting news is that she took a few more solo steps on Friday night with all four grandparents watching. She took about 3-4 steps (differs depending on who you ask!) but it was unanimous that she was extremely close to walking. How exciting!

Here are photos and a video from the weekend:
