We are handling life ok without Dad so far, but it would sure help if I could kick this cold! I'm getting better each day, but it seems to be lingering. Grrr. At least Sabrina has been very sweet and easy this week which helps a lot!
Here are a few random photos of fun things that we've been up to - most of them involving Nana, who has been helping a lot with daycare pick-ups, play times, etc. Thanks Nana!

Sabrina decided that snow is NOT a prerequisite for sledding. We did about 15 laps around the yard.

Maybe the smell reminded her of Dad? Whatever it was, she loved wearing Brent's helmet around the house the other day.

Figuring out things like clips, zippers, and any type of fastener is a fascination for Sabrina right now.

In true Poppy style, he outfitted a luxurious wheel barrow chariot for Sabrina and they took a tour of the neighborhood, out on the sidewalk. A neighbor almost got her camera out, they were so cute! Sabrina kept saying "Hiiiiii" and then (almost immediately) "Bye bye!!!"
And here was one last tea party with Daddy before he left on Sunday. What a good sport, huh? Sabrina loves her new mini table. She will even walk over to it with a book, sit in the chair and "read" the book, then announce loudly "ALL DONE" and slam it shut. Adorable.
We are having a girls part tomorrow night with Mom/Nana and Natalie and Celia since ALL of our men are out of town. Sheesh...leaving the ladies home with the kiddos, huh guys? Well, we'll try not to have too much fun without you.
I'll try to post a few more photos before Brent gets home on Sunday, but no guarantees. I have so much respect for single parents! A week is plenty for me!
